Patience is the name of the game and with the spirit of Christmas in mind, most people are coping well with the crowds at shopping centers across North Central Wisconsin.
A father from Merrill was just beginning his shopping on Monday, December 23rd.
"Kind of traditional I guess, It's a guy thing," said Pete Turner.
Many men looking for that last minute gift for the woman in their life often go straight to the nearest jewelry store.
"We're gonna have a lot going these next two days cause guys don't shop to the end," said Julie Kryshak, owner of Jim Kryshak Jewelers.
In general, most store managers say business this holiday season is even if not better than in year's past. Most customers also say they are spending about the same amount of money on gifts this year.
