Authorities are releasing the names of the people involved in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Lincoln County over the weekend.
According to a news release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department, Harvey D. Graap, 71, of Merrill was killed in the crash. Authorities say a preliminary investigation shows Graap was traveling southbound on County Road K in the Town of Merrill when he crossed the center line and struck a northbound vehicle driven by Bunsen F. Gipple, 75, of Tomahawk.
Graap was pronounced dead at the scene. Gipple was transported to a Merrill hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.
The crash remains under investigation. Authorities say Graap was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the incident. T
This is the second fatal motor vehicle crash in Lincoln County this year.
