JUNEAU, Wis. (AP) -- Police say they've arrested almost a dozen people and are looking for more in a roundup of vending machine bandits believed to have burglarized more than 80 of the machines in five counties.
According to authorities, the group caused more than $35,000 damage to the machines in Dodge, Columbia, Fond du Lac, Dane and Washington counties.
Dodge County Sheriff Todd Nehls says he believes authorities have 11 of the 14 probably involved in the thefts.
A 22-year-old Beaver Dam man being held on a probation violation is suspected of recruiting others and teaching them now to break into the machines.
