They were asked to look up the meaning of the word optimism, and every third grader in the class was able to answer because they each had their own personal dictionary.
To help kick off American Education Week, the Everest Area Optimist Club on Monday donated more than 400 Webster Dictionaries to third grade students in the district.
At St. Mark's school in Rothschild, the students were very thankful for the gift.
The Optimist Club helps support young people in our area.
