TOWNSHIP OF ARCADIA, Wis. (AP) -- The young boy struck and killed while sledding in Trempealeau County is identified.

Sheriff's authorities say five-year-old Matthew McKay slid into the road in the Township of Arcadia Sunday and was hit by a motorist who fled the scene.

Arcadia, Blair and Galesville police helped look for the driver.

A 50-year-old rural Arcadia man was later taken into custody.

Sheriff Richard Anderson says it's possible the driver could be in court later Monday.
