The fire is certainly taking its toll on emergency crews and the people who lost homes and businesses, but it may also have a negative impact long after the flames are put out.
The Magic Moments Bridal and Formal Shop is located right beneath the place where that fire started, which means some local brides could be forced to search for a new dress soon.
The owner of the shop says all of the wedding and formal dresses are ruined, but one local bride has other things on her mind before she goes looking for a new one.
Stacy Hambrick says, "I want to talk to the owner, who I feel terrible for. I'm sure she feels very stressed right now because she's got a lot of work ahead of her."
Hambrick does have a couple of months until her June 11 wedding, and compared to how other brides might react, she seems pretty optimistic.
She says, "Whatever isn't eternal is gonna get burned up anyway, something's sooner than most. I think it's (the wedding dress) replaceable, and lives aren't."
The owner says everything was insured, and she'll try getting at all of her customers' records by Saturday.
In the meantime, she does plan on getting a new rental space by next week, where customers will be able to contact her at her old store number. Hopefully, her other clients will be as understandable as Stacy.
