A prison bus carrying Milwaukee County inmates crashed Monday morning on Madison's east side.
Details were still sketchy this morning. But Madison police say the bus was carrying 12 inmates and two deputies. The extent of their injuries was unknown.
A spokesman for the University of Wisconsin Hospital says early reports on the injuries suggest they aren't serious. He says state Department of Corrections officers will be in the emergency room as added security.
