Marathon County is missing out on a lot of tourism dollars because they don't cater to ATV users, says County Trails Commissioner Dave Marg.
The only public trails on county land in the county are in the Burma Road Forest West of Mosinee.
With over 6,000 ATV owners in Marathon County and a rapidly growing activity, those 14 miles of trails are being heavily used.
Marathon County is looking to open up a new trail from Stratford to Edgar within one year.
