Senate Democrats are looking for new leadership at the State Capitol.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Chvala is expected to be charged criminally with soliciting campaign donations in exchange for votes -- possibly as early as Thursday.
Democratic Senator Jon Erpenbach says if Chvala is charged, the Senate should vote as soon as possible on whether he stays or goes as majority leader.
Senator Jim Baumgart said Thursday he wants Chvala's job as Senate leader if he resigns.
Both Baumgart of Sheboygan and Senator Judy Robson of Beloit are calling for Chvala's resignation, if or when he's charged.
Robson says she talked to Chvala and told him to quit if he's charged.
