The bowling heyday of the '50s, '60s and '70s may be over... but Dale Elliott says technology is making bowling popular for a whole new crowd -- entire families.
The owner of Weston Lanes says league bowlers used to make up about 70% of his business, with casual bowlers making up the other 30%. Now, he says that's switched, and most of his customers are casual bowlers.
He says with automatic scoring and bumpers... you don't have to be a good bowler to have a good time.
Elliott says a lot of people also enjoy Glow Bowling... when they turn down the lights, and almost everything glows in the dark or makes noise.
