One person died and two people are recovering in the hospital following a stabbing that happened in Portage County on Sunday night.

Thirty-seven-year-old Karen Dombrowski died from stab wounds. Her husband Michael Dombrowski and his brother Kenneth Dombrowski were critically injured.

Tyler Dahms, 19, was arrested shortly after the incident.

Authorities say Dahms was at a party on the property, hosted by one of the Dombrowski's children. The adults broke up the party, but Dahms returned a short time later.

"They were all asked to leave the residence, he came back to retrieve his motor vehicle, a second altercation took place and that's when the injuries were sustained with the knife", said Portage County Sheriff, John Charewicz.

Micheal Dombrowski is listed in critical condition at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Kenneth Dombrowski is listed in serious condition at Wausau Aspirus Hospital.

Dahms is being held at the Portage County Jail on an aggravated battery charge, official charges will come when he appears in court on Tuesday.
