Athletes at three of the four Division One universities in Wisconsin continue to graduate at a higher rate than other students at their schools.
An NCAA survey finds the national graduation rate for Division One athletes has reached 60 percent for the first time since it started keeping track 18 years ago.
The graduation rate among athletes remained two percentage points higher than the rate for the general student population.
In Wisconsin, the graduation rates for student-athletes at UW Green Bay, Milwaukee and Marquette University are above the overall student rate. Only UW Madison has a graduation rate below the overall student body's.
