The search for Wausau mother Deanna Zuleger Scantlin could soon be expanding, and the lead investigator hopes it will prove successful and help bring closure for her family.
Scantlin was last seen at a bar in the Town of Norrie near the border of Marathon and Shawano counties. Investigators said some of her belongings were discovered at a home in Antigo, the place where suspect Dale Robinson was living.
With that in mind, the Marathon County Sheriff's Department is working on putting together a search task force that would include personnel from all three counties.
"We have the potential for part of the criminal activity involved outside our jurisdiction,” said Marathon County Captain Diane Krebsbach.
With so much land and woods to cover in the search for Scantlin, Krebsbach said you can also play a key role in the search. Hunters heading into the woods should keep an eye out for anything suspicious and rural property owners are asked to check their land.
