Investigators have released the name of the man killed in a crash on Highway 29 in Owen Thursday.
They say 73-year-old Frank Stofferan of Green Bay was thrown from his truck and died at the scene.
The accident happened about 10:15 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Hwy 29 at the intersection of Hwy P.
The State Patrol says a semi was crossing Highway 29 when it was hit by three cars and another semi. The second semi was rear-ended by Stofferan's truck. Shortly after, two cars who had stopped for the crash were rear-ended by a third semi. One person was seriously injured and 8 others were hurt.
It's believed the foggy conditions played a role in the crashes. Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.
