The woman who died Tuesday after her vehicle collided with a tanker in Rib Mountain has been identifed as Tiffany Hintz, 38, of Rosholt.
Hintz passenger was also injured in the crash. Her condition is unknown.
It is unknown what caused the accident. However we do know a vehicle became trapped underneath the back wheels of a propane tanker truck.
The accident happened just before 8:00 a.m. on Hwy 51 near NN.
The accident wasn’t expected to be cleared until noon.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Department says the tanker was full of propane gas at the time and it was fortunate the valve was not hit in the accident.
