    The Stratford Tigers have beaten the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds 28-7 in the WIAA Division 6 State Championship game in Madison.

    It's Stratford's fifth consecutive title.

    The Tigers' Chris Olson scored three touchdowns on runs of six, four and three yards.

    Stratford made it 28-0 on a 37-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Leonhardt to Derek Joswiak.

    Iola-Scandinavia scored their lone touchdown late in the fourth quarter on a three-yard strike from Colton Zimmerman to Lance Carlson.

    It was the Thunderbirds' second trip to state.
