KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) -- Seven Kenosha teens have been accused in the group beating and sex assault of a 17-year-old girl.
One of the attackers told police they went after the girl because she had befriended a boy they didn't like. According to authorities, the girl was lured to Kenosha's Lincoln Park in the early morning hours a week ago with an invitation to smoke marijuana at the concession stand.
When she arrived, one teen held out a lighter as if to start smoking.
That's when the others swarmed on her. Those involved included four girls and three boys of ages 14 to 17.
