GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- A jury has found a former Sturgeon Bay math teacher not guilty of having sexual contact with a student.

Darren Berg, of Brussels, had been charged with two felony counts of sexual assault by a school staff member. The girl was 16-years-old at the time.

The 40-year-old was a high school math teacher, track coach and student council adviser at Sturgeon Bay High School.

A criminal complaint said the accuser told police she and Berg had sex in the summer of 2009 at her home after she baby-sat his children.
Berg resigned from the school this past summer.
