The second Never Forgotten Honor Flight from NorthCentral Wisconsin left Monday morning at 7am.
Honor Flights take veterans, starting with those from WWII to Washington, D.C. to see the memorials.
In April, 103 vets from our area took the same trip. Four more are scheduled for next year.
They tour the WWII, Iwo Jima and other memorials at the nation's capital. After the tour, they return to the airport where they're greeted by hunreds of cheering well wishers and a band playing patriotic songs.
Honor Flight raises the money via donations and all the flights are free for veterans.
Guardians, or people who take of the vets also go on the trip.
