The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department says a Sawyer County man is facing charges of 7th Offense OWI, marijuana possession and bail jumping after a traffic stop Monday.
Deputies responded to a report of a reckless driver on US Highway 51 near County Road Q in the Town of Scott just before 3 p.m.
Deputies later stopped the vehicle north of County Road C in the Town of Merrill.
They say the driver, 42-year-old Ferdinand Humer of Hayward was arrested on 7th Offense OWI. They say when he was brought to the jail, they found marijuana on him.
The 49-year-old passenger of the vehicle was also arrested on possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer. They say he got out of the vehicle and tried to throw a marijuana pipe into the ditch.
On Tuesday, Humer was released on a signature bond and told not to operate a motor vehicle or drink alcohol. But police say they spotted him driving his car from a repair service later that evening. He was arrested for felony bail jumping for violating the conditions of bond. He was taken back to jail and is scheduled to have a court hearing on Wednesday.
