Northcentral Wisconsin bow hunters will not be scared away by the threat of Chronic Wasting Disease.
Statewide, bow license sales are down over 30 percent from last year, but as local hunters have learned more about the risks of CWD, their fears have subsided.
Sales of licenses and accessories have increased over the last week, according to the owner of a local outdoors store.
Some of the hunters we spoke with say until they hear CWD has made it this far north they will continue to hunt and eat venison.
