If your nose is stuffy and it seems as though you can't stop sneezing, you're not alone.
A local doctor says this is the time of year when allergies are at their worst.
He says one reason for that is because pollen is reaching its peak.
And while symptoms are similar to the common cold, he says there are some subtle differences between a cold and allergies.
"There's drainage, there's nasal congestion, but they occur in a pattern, you often see them in a pattern, spring and summer, sometimes all year round," says Dr. Marshall Cusic, with Marshfield Clinic.
He says allergies usually don't come with a fever.
And while there isn't a cure for them, he says they can be managed with over the counter medicines and by getting an allergy shot.
