Home Explosion Injures Man in Stoughton
A Stoughton man, who police say makes fireworks as a hobby, was seriously hurt when something exploded in his house.

STOUGHTON, Wis. (AP) -- A man who police say makes fireworks as a hobby was seriously hurt when something exploded in his house in Stoughton.
WISC-TV reported it happened about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and investigators said fireworks were responsible.
The station reports smoke poured from the home and the smell of sulfur was apparent. The explosion pushed out the entire sliding door to the back patio.
Police said 23-year-old Christopher B. Hansen was in his basement when something exploded, burning him. He was able to walk out of the home.
Officials sid Hansen was flown to UW Hospital and Clinics Burn Center where he is listed in serious condition.
Stoughton police said Hazmat crews were at the scene Wednesday cleaning up.
