LAKE DELTON, Wis. (AP) -- A foreclosure auction has been postponed for the Extreme World amusement park in the Wisconsin Dells, where a girl was severely injured this summer.
The Bank of Wisconsin Dells had requested the delay until October 19th. Sauk County sheriff's officials say such delays are routine, and that the Extreme World auction has been postponed once before.
The sale would satisfy a more than $2.7 million judgment in favor of the bank against Anderson Amusements LLC and Extreme World Inc.
The bank filed the action in December.
A 13-year-old Florida girl suffered extensive injuries when she fell about 100 feet to the ground on the Terminal Velocity attraction July 30th. The ride's drop master is charged with reckless injury.
Teagan Marti's accident is not associated with this case.
