A social networking site may have saved the life of a suburban Milwaukee teen.
Hartland police said friends of a 16-year-old boy saw him post a suicide note on Facebook Wednesday night, so they called the police.
Within minutes, officers and swat team members surrounded the teen's home and tried to make contact with the teen.
After about 45 minutes the teenager answered the phone and said he had been sleeping.
Police said, although they don't believe anyone else was ever in danger, they had no choice but to respond.
The teen was taken away for a mental evaluation.
Authorities said the teen's parents were home, but did not know anything about the threat.
