A Glenbeulah man has been charged in a bar shooting in the Town of Sheboygan Falls.
The Sheboygan Press reports the suspect, 63-year-old Frank Hvizdak, is a registered gun dealer. He was charged Thursday with first-degree intentional homicide.
The complaint alleges Hvizdak shot 31-year-old Jason TenPas of Cascade four times as they talked Tuesday night at Racer's Hall.
The newspaper says the complaint sheds little light on why, and that Court Commissioner Rebecca Persick said the senselessness was mindboggling as she ordered him held on $750,000 bond.
District Attorney Joe DeCecco says investigators "have no idea" what motivated the shooting.
Hvizdak had a black eye at Thursday's hearing, and his attorney says he also has a broken rib and numerous bruises inflicted by TenPas' friends as they subdued him.
