People will do some crazy things to get free food, including camping out in Stevens Point for more than 60 hours to get free chicken wings for a year.

"I'm pretty pumped. Free wings for a year. Why not?" Kyle Kaster, a camper said.

That was the common phrase among most of the campers waiting outside Buffalo Wild Wings in Stevens Point this weekend.

When the restaurants doors first open at 11 am on Monday, the first 100 people in line will win 52 vouchers for six free wings.

"Who's gonna pass on free wings? That's an opportunity you have to take advantage of. You gotta be pumped. I can come here every Sunday now. Get some free wings. Have a couple beers. Watch some football. It's the best of all worlds," Jeremy Sarby, a camper said.

The first group lined up at 9 am on Friday.

They just wanted to make sure they weren't 101st in line.

"Didn't really think about it, but when we showed up and nobody else was here for another 12 hours, it was kinda obvious that were were a little early," Jake Ward, a camper said.

But campers have found ways to keep themselves busy, and are roughing it out.

This tent may not look the biggest, but you won't believe it: 13 guys crammed in here last night. All totaled they had 23 outside Buffalo Wild Wings, some of them on couches they just happened to find out on the street.

"This one we actually found on the other side of Buffalo Wild Wings and these other three we just made runs for," Gary Henley, a camper said.

Inside their tent, they also had a TV, XBox and a generator.

To pass the time, most campers either played catch, played some cards, listened to music or just talked.

At one point, one group had a vuvuzela, but it was thrown away after other campers became annoyed.
