Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened in Wisconsin Rapids early this morning.
The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department received a call at about 2:30 a.m. about a fireworks complaint, but when they arrived at an apartment complex on George Road, they discovered bullet holes in a parked truck.
Police attempted to contact the owner of the vehicle, who lives at the complex, but he wouldn't answer the door.
After receiving a tip today, they learned the vehicle's owner had been involved in an altercation with a woman outside of a Wisconsin Rapids bar about an hour and a half prior to the shooting, but they're still not sure what lead up to what happened this morning.
"We're asking for tips from the public, anyone who has any tips, notify Wood County Crime Stoppers," says Lt. Kevin Schwartz.
Schwartz says at the time the fireworks complaint was called in, a dark colored vehicle was seen leaving the area.
There was no one in the parked car at the time of the shooting, and no one was hurt.
Police say this investigation is going to rely heavily on tips from the public, so if you have any information about what may have happened this morning you should call the Wood County Crime Stoppers at 887-325-7867.

Hey Gee Oh Oops, I think Mike was implying that "his gang" means the congress which started destroying our country on '07 ( elected in 06, but why split hairs) before Big O put his foot on the accelerator in 09'. Wow, it does relate, the economy drives people to do crazy things. People were jumping out of office buildings during the last depression. Now they just run around shooting up vehicles. I think that is what the others were implying.

Hey Mike, I believe President Obama took office in January of 2009. Why don't you change your answer and have the correct facts. Your pal and Cheney were busy covering their tracks and making sure their buddies got away with as much as possible before leaving office.
