With cooler temperatures moving into the area and the beautiful fall colors decorating the trees, you can't help but get into the fall spirit. And this means many fall favorites!
After picking about 2500 pounds of apples, the Bull Falls Home Brewers wipped up a special batch of their homemade apple cider. Typically known for brewing their own beer, they have actually been brewing apple cider for the last eight years. It was a tradition that was started in one members family and has continues among the members of the home brewers.
The brew contained about 25 different kinds of apples, and the brewers say that this is what makes the cider so tasty.
No part of the apple goes unused. The left over pulp is actually given to a local cattle farm for the animals to enjoy.
There was also a boy scout troop on hand to see how the apple cider is actually made. They then were able to taste test the final product where they enjoyed a nice glass of fresh apple cider.
