Authorities continue to pursue charges against Kevin Kielcheski, hoping that it will lead to some answer about the disappearance of Kayla Berg.

Kevin Kielcheski was the last person to see Kayla Berg, when he dropped her off in front of a home in Wausau, over a year ago.

The 24-year-old drove away before seeing if Kayla entered the home safely. Kielcheski admitted he was driving around with Kayla smoking marijuana the night she disappeared.

He has been charged with second degree reckless endangerment. A status conference on the case against Kielcheski was scheduled for this morning, but was pushed back until next week.

On the anniversary of her disappearance yesterday, family and friends came together for a candlelight vigil at an Antigo park.

This past year has been unbearable for Kayla's mother, as she thinks about her daughter constantly.

"I have mixed emotions," says Hope Sprenger. "Of course I pray and hope that she is okay somewhere, but there is the realistic part of me that says it’s not good. It's a roller coaster."

Langlade County Authorities continue to follow up on leads, but so far there is no word on where she may be.

Berg was only 15 at the time of her disappearance. She has brown hair and brown eyes and is 5'2", weighing about 110 lbs.

If you have any information, call the Langlade County Sheriff's Department at 715-627-6411.

People all over have been questioned in regards to Kayla's disappearance, including those in Wausau. The police department here I doubt has 200 cops on force, and it is out of their juridiction. They have done all that they can do, now it is up to the people involved with Kayla's disappearance to come forward with any information that they have. It has nothing to do with the PD not doing their job, it's a matter of where she is and whom she is with. All we can do is pray for her and her family and hope for her safe return home.

Reply to Pumkis: Do we know if she was dropped of in Wausau? Unfortunately we may never know what really happened if people who know won't talk.

This is in reply to Anonymous: This has nothing to do with Antigo. Yes Kayla is from Antigo but she was last seen in Wausau. If anyone should be talking, it should be the people around the area where she went missing. Find out where Kevin dropped her off at and question those people. They probably have more answers than people in Antigo.
