A trial date has been set for one of four Merrill teens accused in a string of burglaries earlier this year.
Travis Dallman, 17, is charged with burglary and criminal damage to property after investigators say he along with three others broke into a cabin in the Town of Corning in April. Soon after, deputies stopped a vehicle and Dallman, 17-year-old Dylan Grapp and a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were arrested. The names of younger teens were not released because they are juveniles.
Investigators believe the suspects are tied to several burglaries in Lincoln, Marathon and Taylor counties. They may also be tied to property damage crimes and thrill killings of animals.
In July, Dallman reached plea deal to a similar case in Taylor County and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. He is also in the middle of second, separate case in Lincoln County where he is charged with 14 counts of theft, burglary and criminal damage to property. He has two court appearances scheduled next month, including his trial on October 17.
Online court records do not show any open cases for Dylan Grapp.
