NEW INFO: Name of Eau Claire Fire Victim Released

Police say 21-year-old Ross A. Livermore, a UW Eau Claire student died and two others were injured after an apartment Monday morning in Eau Claire.

One injured student was airlifted to a burn center in Minnesota with serious injuries. Another remains at an Eau Claire hospital. A fourth student was not seriously injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and police have not yet released the names of the victims.

The apartment is located on the 600 block of Water Street.
