A sergeant from the Wood County Sheriff's Department said one person has died after a two-vehicle accident Friday morning southwest of Marshfield.
Authorities say the crash happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of County Road N and County Road B in the Town of Rock.
The Sgt. said a driver, identified as Paul Feenstra, 40, was headed northbound on County Road B and failed to stop at a stop sign colliding with another vehicle. Feenstra was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four people in the other vehicle, an adult and three children, were transported to the hospital. The Sgt. did not believe their injuries were life threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
