1 Dead in Black River Falls House Fire

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- One person has died in a house fire in Black River Falls.

Firefighters found heavy fire venting out of a large front window of the wood frame home Sunday. Dispatchers told firefighters there was one person inside. Firefighters located the person inside the house, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

WEAU-TV says local and state investigators are looking for a cause of the fire. An autopsy is expected to be done on the victim on Monday in Madison.
