1 Dead Following Motorcycle vs. Deer Crash

The Waushara County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of a man killed in a motorcycle crash Monday evening northeast of Wautoma.

According to a news release, just before 6:30 p.m. The Waushara County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a motorcycle vs. deer crash on County Highway W south of County Highway TT in the Town of Saxeville. The reporting party advised that the driver had been pinned under the motorcycle.

The driver was identified as John M. Wilkinson 52-year-old from rural Pine River.

Wilkinson died Monday night at Theda Clark Medical Center.

This is the 9th traffic fatality in Waushara County during 2012.
