UPDATE: Pedestrain Hit and Killed by Vehicle Identified

The Waupaca County Sheriff's Department has identified the man hit and killed by a vehicle on Saturday as 18-year old Tyler L. Court of New London.

The accident is still under investigation. The Sheriff's Department wants to speak to anyone who would have traveled Collier Road or been in the area in the early morning hours of July 12th, 2014. The Waupaca County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating a fatal traffic accident in which a man was hit by a vehicle.

The accident happened early Saturday morning, just after 2:30 AM. The Waupaca County Sheriff's Department received a report that a person had been struck by a vehicle. The accident happened on Collier Road approximately a half a mile west of Tank Road in the Township of Lebanon in Waupaca County.

When emergency crews from the New London First responders and New London Ambulance arrived on scene they found a man unresponsive and not breathing. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Further details regarding the accident are expected to be released Sunday or Monday.
