A Crivitz man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend is scheduled to enter a plea to the charge in November.
Richard Heyer, 55, is charged with shooting and killing Ann Schueller on August 26 at the Wausaukee gas station where she worked. Authorities say after shooting Schueller, Heyer shot himself in the chest, but survived.
WLUK-TV reports court documents show they had lived together outside of Crivitz until the end of last year. Schueller requested the restraining order in June, but a court official denied it, saying there wasn't enough evidence of a threat against her.
Heyer's plea hearing is scheduled for November 6th.
