The Vilas County Health Department is reporting its first two confirmed cases of the H1N1, or Swine Flu Virus.
In a news release Tuesday, the Department said the cases were mild and the victims are now symptom-free.
Health officials are asking you to remain cautious when it comes to the virus. They say with tourists flocking to Vilas County this summer, they expect the number of cases to grow.
They recommend several steps you can take to keep your family safe. They include washing your hands often with soap and water, covering your mouth when you sneeze or cough, and avoiding close contact with sick people.
There currently are thousands of confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus in Wisconsin. Four residents have died.
