Thursday women in Wausau will be pampered and proactive at the same time. Toni’s Salon in Spa in Wausau is hosting a Health from Head to Toe Mammography party from noon to 8 p.m.

The salon’s owner wanted to create a fun environment for women to enjoy spa services, while having convenient access to mammography services.

Thursday the Aspirus Women’s Health Mobile Imaging Unit will be set up right outside the salon.

"We feel as a community, for all of Wausau, for all women, that if we can just enjoy out lives a little bit longer and a little bit more often that I think we're all going to be a little bit happier,” said Marie Kieffer, owner of Toni’s Salon & Spa.

Toni’s Salon is donating $3 from every spa purchase to the Aspirus Health Foundation to Support Women’s Health Programs.
