Help Save Lives & Get a Free Ticket to the Wisconsin Valley Fair

If you’re interested in helping save a few lives, or maybe just getting in free to the upcoming Wisconsin Valley Fair, the Rib Mountain Fire Department has just the thing for you.

On Tuesday, July 1 the department is hosting a community blood drive with the BloodCenter of Wisconsin and everyone who donates will get a free ticket to the Wausau fair.

The blood drive starts at 1 p.m. and donors will be accepted until 6 p.m. at the Rib Mountain Fire Department.

Anyone who is at least 17-years-old, weighs a minimum of 110 pounds and is in good health can donate blood.

If you’re interested in doing that you should bring a photo ID.

Walk-ins are welcome and appointments can be made by calling the BloodCenter at (888) 310-7555.
