Good News project is a computer recycling drive of on Friday, January 6th (from 1-4pm) and Saturday, January 7th (from 9am to Noon).
The computer/electronics recycling events are at the Good News Project warehouse, 1106 Fifth St., Wausau , three blocks south of Franklin Elementary School. Cost is 30 cents per pound. An average computer outfit is 40 to 60 pounds, so the cost would be $12 to $18. All items received are shipped to a professional computer recycler.
Accepted are computer gear, televisions, VCRs, phones, printers, copiers, fax machines, microwaves, stereo gear and other items containing circuit boards. No dehumidifiers, air conditioners or appliances.
