Congressional Opponents Square off in Wausau

While touching on issues of health care all three sides debated heavily on the conflict in iraq and just how to change strategy without compromising safety at home. And one of the most hottly debated topics was on energy where Reid challenged Obey on his record in Washington on voting down certain energy bills.
"The administrations energy bill was an eight billion dollar give away to the oil and gas industry," said Democratic Representative Dave Obey. "So I plead fully guilty in voting against that energy policy"
"We've got oil reserves right here," said Republican Challenger Nick Reid. "We aren't going to get our dependece off oil any time soon but we can get our dependece off of foreign oil so were no longer a slave to these foreign oil companies."
