- NEW INFO: WSAW's Switch from Analog to Digital will now take place Monday February 16, 2009 at 11:55 p.m.
There is now a new date and time when NewsChannel 7 will switch from analog to full digital television. This switch will now take place on Monday February 16, 2009 at 11:55 p.m. WSAW will cease operations of its analog transmission and will continue to broadcast in full digital television.

- Federal Communications Commission to Hold Imformational Discussion at the Wausau Mall Valentine's Day Weekend
If you have questions about a specific converter box that you own, you may bring it with you (along with your remote control and manual) to get detailed information on how to connect it to your TV set. The FCC will be at the Wausau Mall Saturday and Sunday, February 14 and February 15.

The Commerce Department says there's a waiting list for anyone applying for federal coupons to pay for converter boxes ahead of the transition to digital television broadcasts. Those on the list may not get their voucher in time for next month's switchover.
