Local Filmmaker Unveils Latest Flick at Wausau World Premiere Save Email Print

It's not too often locals get to check out a world premiere of a film in North-Central Wisconsin.

But Friday, September 5th, movie lovers will have the chance to see a local filmmaker showcase his talents.

Erik cieslewicz will unveil his latest short film titled 'Microcosm' at the University of Wisconsin, Marathon County's Theater.

The film, which was shot in Wausau and follows four teens as they prepare to head off to college.

The main characters in the film represent four distinctly different personalities.

In addition to lots of local sights, the soundtrack features a handful of Wisconsin based bands.

Cieslewicz made the film on his time off as a photojournalist for WSAW Television in Wausau, Wisconsin.

The premiere will take place at U.W.M.C. beginning at 8:30 P.M. in the University Theater.
