A film that has become one of Disney’s most successful franchises is now making its way to central Wisconsin.

The production of “High School Musical”, takes center stage at the Grand Theater this Sunday.

Julia Szmanda and Lucas Schilling made a special appearance on DayBreak, to give an exclusive sneak peek before opening night.

Lucas, a recent D.C Everest graduate, and Julia a graduate from Wausau East, play twins Ryan and Sharpay Evans in the production.

The musical is directed by LuAnne Richardt and produced by Central Wisconsin Children's Theatre.

Performances are at the Grand Theater in Wausau June 29 - July 1, 2008.

Showtimes are at 7:00 p.m. all three days. A matinee showing is at 2:00 p.m. on July 1.

Ticket prices are $15.

Awsome job, I can't wait to see the show!!!

I'm looking forward to it... the last time I was on stage at the Grand, it was for a former colleague of mine that did the annual "Gary's" Awards. Bring your friends and family and come on out and watch these amazing kids perform!
