Jonathon M. Gunderson, 34, Town of Norrie, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born on October 19, 1979 in Merrill, the son of Karen Buss and George Gunderson.
On December 8, 2001, Jon was united in marriage to Theresa Muhs in Antigo. She survives.
Jon was currently working as an ASE Certified Automotive Technician at Budget Auto Plus in Wausau. He enjoyed spinning records, riding motorcycle, watching movies and hanging out with friends and family. Jon was a wonderful father and loved spending time with his daughters.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Gunderson, town of Norrie; two daughters, Annah and Elise, both at home; his parents, Karen (Don Edberg) Buss, Custer and George (Kathy Elorreaga) Gunderson, Draper, Utah; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Buss, Wittenberg and his mother-in-law, Carol Muhs, Birnamwood. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Jon was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Gunderson; grandparents, Goodwin and Catherine Gunderson and Bernard Buss and his father-in-law, Edwin Muhs.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 1pm until 3pm at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. The family would like to the the Aspirus ICU staff for all of their wonderful care. The family guestbook and condolences are available at schmidtschulta.com.
