James “Jim” Wiesman, age 74, of Wausau, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau.
Jim was born on June 14, 1939 in Wausau. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He would go on to work as a railroad engineer for three different railroad companies between the years of 1960 to 1997. Jim loved to go to bible study, golf, and read.
Jim is survived by his sister Nancy (Art Davis) Scott of Florida; brothers Dale (Carol) Wiesman, Robert (Luanne) Wiesman, and Jack (Rose) Wiesman; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jim is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy B. (Puckett) Litzer.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams St., Wausau. The Rev. Darryl Erickson will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home on Monday.
The family would like to thank the Doctors at Aspirus Hospice Comfort Care and all the nurses and volunteers for the loving care given to Jim and his family members. “They are all God’s Angels.”
