Lorraine A. Woald, 88, Wittenberg, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.
She was born on September 19, 1925 in Little Falls, MN, the daughter of the late Isadore and Stella (Vnuk) Zoren.
On August 12, 1948, Lorraine was united in marriage to Carl O. Woald in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1982.
Lorraine enjoyed going for walks, visiting with friends and the occasional trip to the casino. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include four children, Candace (Ed Meyer) Parker, Port Edwards, Edward (Carol) Woald, Port Edwards, Elaine (Jerry) Oertel, Stevens Point and Sandy (Jeff) Suchon, Crivitz and 11 grandchildren, Ron Darst, Dawn Darst, Tammy Pember, Rodney Woald, Michelle Woald, Bernard Miller, Jr., Raquel Hansen, Jamie Roe, Amber Suchon, Danielle Cinquepalmi and Jared Suchon. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a special friend, Melissa Smith.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by four sisters and eight brothers.
The Funeral Service will be held at 12noon on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Rev. Karen Zutz-Rendall will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Rest Cemetery, Elderon. Visitation will be on Monday from 10am until the time of services at the funeral home.
