Helene Genevieve Eisenman, 92, died October 23, 2013, at Mount View Care Center’s Evergreen Crossing in Wausau.



Helene was born on April 5, 1921, in Wausau, the firstborn child of John D. Kainz and Elsie (Fust) Kainz. She married Edward Eisenman on September 29, 1946, in Wausau. Edward preceded her in death on March 7, 1999.



Survivors include her children, John D. and his wife, Sandra (Miller) Eisenman, Wausau; Jeffrey E. and his wife, Donna (Hingle) Eisenman, Robert, Louisiana; and Ann Eisenman, Wausau; one granddaughter, Jennifer Wood, Johns Creek, Georgia; three grandsons, Joshua Eisenman and his wife Tiffany (Grobe), Kingsville, Texas; John M. Eisenman, Edgar, Wisconsin; Jeffrey S. Eisenman, Belle Chasse, Louisiana; and five great-grandchildren, Moria , Jenna, Sawyer, Nala, and Aeryn; and her adopted daughter and friend, Celia McMullen, Wausau. She is also survived by one brother, Bob Kainz, Crivitz, Wisconsin; and two brother-in-laws, Harold Eisenman and his wife, Beverly, Wausau; and Alan Eisenman and his wife, June, Post Lake, Wisconsin.



Besides her husband and her parents, Helene was preceded in death by her sister, Margery, and brothers Charles, Clifford, and John Jr.



Private family services will be conducted at a later date.



Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau is assisting the family with arrangements.



Helene’s family would like to give their sincere thanks and love to the staff of Mount View Care Center’s Lakeview Heights and Evergreen Crossing for the outstanding care and love they provided to Mom these last 7 months.
