She and her husband were also active in Monument Builders of North America on both State and National levels, and were charter members of the Monument Industry Education Foundation. She and Mel were past members of the Minocqua Country Club, and long time members of the Wausau Curling Club. DeLoris also served as a board member and past secretary of the Wausau YWCA, was a member of the Shriner’s Hospital Auxiliary and White Shrine, and also a member of the Wausau Women’s Club.
Through the years DeLoris and her family enjoyed their cottage on Lake Minocqua. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She enjoyed vacationing with her family during the holiday season in Fort Myers Beach, FL. In later years, she and Mel enjoyed wintering there with family and friends that would come to visit.
On August 15th Mel and DeLoris celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
